Listen to the end of this for interesting audio things. I love to rant and rant some more. This is actually not coming from a place of anger, more like a place of distraction and trying to get my spirits up. You see, My dog is dying and, rather than have him suffer, is going to be put down. Also I'm 2 fucking weeks sick and have been dealing with going deaf in the ears from them being clogged since friday. But enough depressing details. I will share with you something that made me mad playing adventure at C colon. I'm a veteren of the game, have played it for like 10 years straight so this isn't me disliking the game at all. I hope you love listening to this as much as I loved making this.

Testing my new Zoom H1 XLR with binaural mics| Played 53 times

I already own the H6 from the Essential series and was originally going to get the extra module with the additional XLR combo jacks + 3.5 inch input so I could connect my binaural microphones for mobile use. But since the plug-in module costs almost as much as an additional recorder, I bought the Zoom H1 XLR instead. It's also much smaller and easier to carry around. But it doesn't have internal microphones. 

Here is a test recording where you can follow me on a short routine walk through my house. I go downstairs, across the house to the backyard, put some dirty laundry in the basket in the boiler and laundry room, get some snacks for the evening from the pantry, come back into the house, and go upstairs to my room. For this recording I used binaural ear microphones from a German manufacturer that unfortunately no longer exists. I intentionally recorded without a low-cut filter, but I had to apply a hard 8:1 compression because the microphones are extremely sensitive, and just normalizing the recording is not enough. It is fascinating how little background noise can be heard even with this level of amplification.

While trying to get an acoustic recording of my Predator 212 engine, I noticed that if the recorder got too close, there would be a clicking sound, which I almost immediately figured out was the magneto. Once again, I wanted to know what it would sound like with a pickup coil, so I finally got around to recording it along with some acoustic recording. The engine is at idle for most of the recording, but I give it a couple of revs and kill the engine at the very end, sadly without the pickup coil.
The sound of slow revs almost sounds like I just increased the sampling rate of the audio or something, but I promise that was recorded in real time. The only modification I did to the recording was to make the coil part of mono instead of being on the left channel.

I was trying to remix a sound on suno.ai, but accedently uploaded the wrong file, a wav file of the sounds the salinewin.exe malware plays upon execution. It kind of plays 8 bit music, so Suno did it's best trying to turn it into v4.

Talking on GMRS channel 15 on my Baofeng BF-F8HP pro| Played 38 times

Just screwing around on walkie-talkies, this time it's the Baofeng BF-F8HP pro, the newest radios. I was on the walkie-talkie GMRS/FRS channel 15 (462.575 MHz). I had my other walkie talkie the Midland talker recording this on my windows PC. Technically I don't have a license for GMRS but I don't give a fuck. They share frequencies between FRS and GMRS channels.

This is another audio of me playing this game. it's not as long as the other one, but that doesn't really matter much. I'm using a different voice for NVDA and I slowed it down a lot, so hopefully people can understand it. I probably should of did that the last time but oh well. I'm also using a mouse and keyboard to play, the last time I just used the keyboard. And I have to say I'm much better with the mouse. You aim faster, which can save you a lot. Anyways enjoy.

I remember the first clip made with mic like this which i found in 2017 on anyaudio.  Since then, I have always wanted to have something like this. And i have it now so now is the time to have fun. I recorded a Sony portable Minidisc player. Forgive the slight background noise from other equipment but this is the first quick test. I just plugged it into the mixer without setting it up.

Warning, this recording is extremely loud, so turn down the volume. 
I recently bought myself a ceramic death astec whistle. It looks like a skull, and apparently astec people were blowing it when someone died as a part of some kind of a ritual or something. Ofcourse this is not an original but a replica, so the sound is much more harsh and it sounds like a screaming woman. Imagine going through the forest at night and hearing that sound from afar. It is very loud, that's why the recording is distorted. Enjoy, and feel free to prank others with it 😂

Unfortunately, there's nowhere to place announcements or statements as an admin of this service. There probably isn't a need for one. However, descriptions do exist, so I'm using the description of this one to get my point across in a place people can prominently see it.
The last few days on Audiopub have been, frankly, fucking exhausting. It's turned into a high school shouting match, with one side being really, truly in need of help, and the other just kind of poking the bear. I have 0 respect for our problem uploaders, however I'd like to ask us all, again, to refrain from telling each other to kill ourselves. That's fucked up, to put it bluntly, and not something this site is about.
I'd like to make something very clear: This isn't the place to push your harmful ideologies. This is not the place to upload your hate speech or callout videos. We want no part of it. What we want is just to have a nice, convenient place to share audio with each other. And up until this week it's been doing that pretty damn well.
End it here. The parody videos were funny, but they're only fanning the flames. Incel and co, you're just going to keep getting banned, so I say for the tenth time, get a life. Nothing's gonna change.
