A little thing I made for streaming on Audiopub

Today I was bored so I made this little tool for Audiopub streaming called Audiopub Stream Helper. It can read chats either through SAPI or an active screen reader independently of the website and it can play sounds whenever listeners join or leave, whenever the tool connects or disconnects, whenever the stream ends, and also whenever any errors happen. I don't consider this a serious project so idk for how long I'll maintain it, but I'm posting it publicly in case someone finds it useful. That said, feel free to make a pull request or fork it if you want something added.

    Also yes, this was the reason for that test stream today when I accidentally streamed a call with my friend (sorry friend) lol

    Neat, like a little stripped-down version of Pub Streamer. That should hold everyone over for the time being.

    BTW, yes, it is absolutely still a thing. In fact, it's pretty much feature complete in its current form. I just don't want to release it yet, because I need a real developer to verify there are no serious security holes with it before I release it to the public. Also, application patching is still entirely broken, and I don't want to release something that's buggy and glitchy. I might be persuaded to release it in its current form, provided I can be assured that there are no security holes that would open up Audio Pub itself to get hacked. You guys would just need to keep in mind that you'd be running it at your own risk.

    Keep in mind, I'm a vibe coder, (not a real developer), so I am incapable of independently verifying the code myself. Otherwise, I would have done it and Pub Streamer would be released by now. In the meantime, molitvan, thanks for putting this out there so that people aren't left with nothing.

      I mean if there are any security holes in Audiopub, they're there already and you releasing your thing can't make anything vulnerable that's already not vulnerable. Also yeah this isn't nearly as big as PubStreamer will be, this is literally just one Python script I made in like an hour lol.

    well i am not familiar with how to operate github and since there is no releases published how can i use it unless there is a zip file i can unzip and something with a regular menu structure etc?

      Then you can't. It's a run from source cli app. If you want user friendly wait for Pub Streamer, or someone to pick this up and add a GUI and stuff.
