so I had a bass, and I had a guitar. I was like, lets try this thing called mixing and covering, kinda, but due to me being terrible at following tempos and metranomes, after 6 hours, you got this abomination, and yes, it's only until before the verse, and sadly I just realized the metranome was apparently also included. LOL. Not sure if I can remove it without rerecording.
used garage band for recording, guitar used is esp ltd snakebyte, bass used is sire P7, amp used is boss katana, recording is through using the usb recorder, asentially using the amp as an audio interface, it kinda, worked.
it's horrible, it sucks. But I'm prowd of it for whatever reason.

    also, I forgot to mention. I cheated. I didn't record it all directly, I recorded it in chunks, each chunk is like 4-8 bars. Except the insanely long intro of course. Damn I just realized I overdid it lol.

    I like this. And you should be proud of this, I definitely would be if I were in your situation. There's something about making a project then listening back to it that's so, great!

      Yep, I knew, from the start, it won’t be the prettiest thing, but it was both better and worse than I expected, if that makes any sense, but yeah, after listening to it a few times, it wasn’t terrible, the thing that made it a bit annoying was the background tick tick of the accidentally included metranome, and how extended the intro was, damn, a whole damn minute lol, and obviously, the oops timing issues, like how in the third riff the bass didn’t sync with the rythm guitar a few times, but the rest of it was acceptable, but probably there are milions of worse first attempts out there.
      I’ll probably try making something similar soon, maybe this weekend, thinking either iron man from black sabbath, or enter sandman metallica. If I only know how to make drums though, that’ll probably make it an entirely different level. I just don’t know how to put drums with garageband, there is that drummer feature thing, but I want a specific style of drums per song, obviously, and that one seems mostly randomized, so I suppose I need to do some research before that.
