Is the map streight road by default? You don't need a mod for a streight map right?

Correct, the one you want to load is called Grid, small, pure. Though sometimes the OCR simply says grid, or grid small. When you load that map, you can drive in any direction for as long as you want.

It would seem that they adjusted the price. The game is sitting at $12.49 USD currently.

what are the keyboard shortcuts

Escape: toggles the ingame menu
CTRL+E: Brings up the car spawn menu
CTRL+W: Brings up the part selector menu
arrows: Accelerate, brake, and steering
C: Change the camera view
Numbers on the number row: Select a specific camera view
Alt+U: Show/hide the UI, good to AI picture description works better
Q: temporarily switches between arcade and realistic gearbox modes
CTRL+Q: If a car is equipped with driving modes, this cycles between them.
ALT+A and ALT+S: working with the range box and the splitter in some vehicles
Shift: Acts as the clutch, only if realistic gearbox mode is on and you are in a car equipped with a manual transmission
Z and X: Shifts gears, though I don't know which order they go up and down as I never use them

My bad, I take my earlier statement back. Regional price differences. I thought I managed to get a hold of the original price but that is not the case.
