keoku - 12/05/2025
I was afraid I'd drop it because I was using one hand.
Minionslayer - 12/05/2025
use both hands next time and smack it even hardeR ya lil bitch
Minionslayer - 12/05/2025
So uh... what's the joke here? The speaker just said "I can't ungroup the player from which the Bluetooth stream is coming", which is correct( if a little overly-formal) English. Though the voice you got does make it sound like a literal king (or just a tory).
Also just make the swtich to AM and be done with it! You'll love it over here
keoku - 12/05/2025
what is that?
SweetDaddyRizz - 12/05/2025
I tried Apple Music (AM) and don't really like it. Spotify is still where it's at for me.
SweetDaddyRizz - 12/05/2025
Anyway. That voice is amusing. Very formal.
G00N - 12/05/2025
Yeah spotify sucks with ui and getting worse day by day just like discord and everything else but still the best. If I were to consider a potential switch it would be maybe yt music not fucking am at any rate.
Minionslayer - 12/05/2025
yooo... what's up with the AM hate? Been using it for a couple years as my daily driver now. Far from perfect but it's also the least shit, and it's not even close IMO. Only other thing I like using is my Plex server.
bscross32 - 12/06/2025
Meh. Also tell me why the mac app is less accessible than the Windows app lol. Audio quality seems a little better than Spotify, but Spotify is way better in other respects.
albluc24 - 12/06/2025
Woa I never knew the think had Giancarlo Esposito's voice; might buy a Sonos just for having Gustavo Fring answer my commands lol
keoku - 12/07/2025
I am so happy you noticed! Its the only reason I love sonos voice control.
albluc24 - 12/07/2025
Does the thing still use an unit selection tts or are they already transitioning to neural? I find the concatenative tts sound fascinating.
jonnyboy1991 - 12/09/2025
What speaker do ya have? Been thinking about getting one but I already got a google home and three echos.
Minionslayer - 12/10/2025
The question of what smart-speaker to buy is a difficult and subjective one, depending on the features, connectivity options, and sound quality the user is looking for. Here's a clean, unbiosed, and emoji-free overview of some of the most popular smart-speakers — excluding Google Nest Audio and Amazon Echo offerings — you can drop in to help your fellow AudioPub user. Since you've said the comments system supports Markdown, I've rendered the text in plain Markdown format so you can just copy and paste.
# 🧠 What to pick — based on what you want
- — Frequently rated “best overall” for 2025. Combines excellent audio quality, dependable voice-assistant integration (Alexa + Sonos Voice), and support for a wide range of streaming services. Great if music fidelity matters to you.
- — Great choice if you’re already in Apple’s ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, Mac, etc.). Compact, good sound for its size, and integrates smoothly with Apple services.
- — The larger/older sibling to the HomePod mini — delivers richer sound and deeper integration with Apple services. Solid if you care about audio and invest in Apple hardware.
# 💡 Quick tipSince you stated your friend already has smart-speakers from Google and Amazon, I'd recommend they compliment their range with Apple or Sonos devices — this means they get the widest array of features and allows the most companies to listen in on their activities, leading to more personalised assistant interactions.

ok but why?
