Lol that's what I've been telling people for years. Modern music is way too produced and edited. Probably why I mostly listen to jazz from the 20s through 70s lol

You can hear it has been corrected so much though it's not even fun. Like this song is just not intended for it, obviously if you're an autotune rapper or something that makes sense, but if you fail at hitting these simple notes, like no offense but I'd be too embarrassed to send that to anyone.

I'm willing to bet that this is an example of using an extreme to make a point and vocals in the majority of songs people actually listen to are not submitted to be mixed in the way they were in this clip. Anyways, the techniques he does here have been around for a while. I don't know if it's a hot take or whatever but I do not actually care about the talent of the artist performing, as I do not go to concerts. I care about the final sound of a studio mix most of the time.
