Description:
When I cant sleep during spring and summer time, I sometimes record birds on our balcony. I live in Banska Bystrica, city in the center of Slovakia, so the best time to do this is about 4 AM. Here is my compilation of recordings from last years.

Zoom H1E but I filtered some frequencies in reaper with JS: RBJ 12-Band EQ w/HPF to filter some lov end noise.

I also really like listening to birds at night ;), I think I even posted something about it on my profile once. I record them from the window of the house, I would like to have a balcony :).

these recordings are amazing! you have a lot of birds outside your window. here in Milan Italy where i live, most of them are like singing. i would like to experience this many birds in person. the stereo separation is amazing, is this really just zoom H1E internal mics?thanks for sharing this!

Yes, I didn't processed the stereo image, it is just H1E internal mic. I live in Center of slovakia. Unfortunatelly during the day birds are distracted by traffic.
