Description:

Many of you have been curious about our office and where we made our previous recording, so we decided to record a little tour for you! In it, we introduce ourselves, show you around our workspace, and talk a bit about the objects and how everything’s set up.
We recommend using headphones to get a better sense of the space.
Hope you enjoy the tour and that it answers any questions you’ve had about our workspace!
Come right in! let us show you around. 😊

One tip, if you want the sound to be real next time, record using the same microphones. Also, don't use a generic ambient sound, which is clearly an introduced sound effect. Furthermore, it would be interesting to cut the delay between speeches, since any communication service like TeamTalk normally has it.

@Sonorous Arts, This was fun to listen to and I personally congratulate you guys on achieving what you have now. Not many blind people whom I know have got the balls to go this far. I hope that audio game dev isn't the only thing you do though.

I have realized that this community is way too toxic for their own good. I'm wondering how people like MasterJake, GigaSound and their "we-are-the-best" listening party are going to do with the insolence that they demonstrated. I was waiting for these guys to post a confirmation of what I said earlier (that it's neither a convolution reverb nor a team talk/remote session) to respond to everything that people said to me directly/indirectly, and here it is!
By the way, shame on you for making fun of someone else's voice and accent, while clearly those of you who did this aren't smart enough to learn a second language. At this point I do wonder why any developers make anything for the rotten community we have built up. While I was listening to that Team Talk session you people had going on making fun of that office day thingy, you were just ridiculing things that you clearly didn't understand correctly for the half of it that I cared enough to listen to. I was hoping that one of you (GigaSound) would at least explain what impulse responses are, or at least use the right name for the kind of reverb he was claiming that was used in that audio file (convolution reverb), but of course not.
I am amazed how our community always tends to crap on peoples work, especially when the target is another blind developer. This has been going on from years ago that I wasn't actively participating, and it's still going on. I mean I know there are lots of bad developers, those who use stolen code and shit, but we are absolutely driving the good ones away as well. I've had some experience with their suite and it was actually pretty good, I know other game developers who do understand their shit, and they said the same thing as well on audio games. Yeah I've ranted enough. See yall another day.

At this point I seriously ask myself wether it's true or just promo. Like, don't get me wrong. I initially believed you had an office, but since you made these recordings I got dupts, the ambience, the door sound, the extreme reverb, na.

  • Jonathan859 - 10/28/2025

But impressive you can work with that weird music /mall ambience in the background :p

  • Jonathan859 - 10/28/2025

But tbh good english, know it has been said already but for not native language it's great.

@Rico Sanchez Wo slow down! Someone's on fire today. I will state this, for you but to others that think I was doing this to be toxic. Answer, I was not. I enjoy the guys at marvel relm. I have payed, I have reviewed, even bug reported. These guys have been one of the most responsive and helpful people in business, especially the audiogame one. And mimicking another's accent? Sorry to burst your bubble buddy but it's what I do. I can't speak for the others but what I can say is that my goal here was to pick apart that recording while having fun. But appairently you can't do that these days. People in 2025 are so, easily offended. But i'm not done here sir, I have much more to say. So first. You quote, have Years! of Experience in sound design? Then pardon me, but how the f**k do you not know about impulse response and convolution reverb? Why should I have to explain exactly what plugin or vst to use to get that? Come on mister big man on sound design campus, you should know how to do that already without me holding your hand. You started this. I mearly suggested it was fake, and I brought some questions to proove it. But the truth is. I even said it in my listen party recording. I and the others even stated that the office could be real. I am more than willing to admit I was wrong. just because I entertain the fact it could be scripted or fake doesn't mean you have to start firing shots at me. I enjoy and will continue to support these awesome dudes at marvel realm. That's more than what you said, "I tried their suite and it was pretty good." Pretty good? They have some of the most advanced frame based gameplay we've seen in years of audiogame development. And you want to call it pretty good. I'd hate to see what's better than that to you. Instead of ranting on me and using snowflake words like toxicity why don't you lower your standards a little, mmkay?

    Hail Espeak.

Furthermore, it would be interesting to cut the delay between speeches, since any communication service like TeamTalk normally has it.

I'm not seeing the vision on this one being fake to the level you're assuming. The last one was absolutely scripted. This one is not necessarily real in the sense that I doubt this is how these guys normally act, but you're never going to get that in a recorded event where all parties are aware that they are being recorded. Sometimes people are comfortable enough in that kind of environment that they make you think you are getting it. Sometimes they don't care about their image, so you get something pretty close. These guys clearly care about their image. We know this because of their other communications. Delay between speech is probably caused by them choosing their words carefully. Or, who knows, maybe they are reading a script at some points. But you seem to be saying that they are actually not recording this in person at all, that they have some 3D mix thing going on with individual audio streams captured from TT. I believe this was recorded in a real environment by people who are actually in the same physical space.

Also, don't use a generic ambient sound, which is clearly an introduced sound effect.

I don't see how the ambience is necessarily fake. It could be. Maybe you or someone else can find the exact one they used or point out a loop. But it sounds reasonably like they are separated by a bit of distance from a busy metro area. It sounds like they didn't fully close the door to me, and I'm not sure the reason for that. But that seems to be why the ambience doesn't cut out as much as you might expect.

if you want the sound to be real next time, record using the same microphones.

They are using a Zoom H6 as they said, probably with the default stereo capsule or something. There is often one of them seeming to stand behind the recorder (the one holding it) and one standing in front. Again, I'm not sure this is fake to that level.

    the extreme reverb

Is the reverb extreme? It kind of sounds that way, but the room is probably big. If you don't have a lot of objects that dampen sounds, you get something like this. Also the H6 is a field recorder. I have one, it captures a lot. Compression will make those elements pop out.

  • Jim Pickens - 10/30/2025

Man y'all have no ears or something cause this is clearly real. I was on the fence for that last one, this one is very difficult to impossible to fake.
