I disagree you might need your phone at school for certain emergencies you could really use them. Now I never had 1 to speak of but teachers won't be able to make all the calls or texts everytime something happens. Let kids bring their phones to school but leave them in their backpacks. Once in high school I was yelled at by my mobility teacher for not having a phone to call the school to tell them that I would be getting back late. Now that teacher was a bit crazy but she asumed that every teen had a phone. What if you're at school and someone might die in your family or something. Sure your family could call the school but I wouldn't want something like that being told to me by a third person. School is enough like child prison let's not make it worse.

Sure but people that don't have graphing calculators are fine in Math class too but does that mean no 1 should be able to have 1 in school?

mine was last year cause i was messing with the beeps instead of doing math like I was sposed to so yes it kinda was.
