Nature Recording Featuring People (Eww) | Played 9 times | No favorites

By Sir Howard

I recorded this brief bit while at Rock Island today. It's a bad recording and short, because I don't have the energy, focus, or time to do anything longer. (Recording 1 of 3.)

My friend and I jamming out in senior year of high school (2022) | Played 64 times | No favorites

By tunmi13

It was the last week of high school for my friend and I, and we wanted to go out with a nice musical bang. I was bound to play the drums for Bohemian Rapsody in my Concert Choir class, and he was going to play the guitar.
After our practice session, we decided to jam out and do some freestyling.
A few things to be aware of.

  1. I'm not an experienced drummer. I screwed up quite a bit.
  2. I screwed up the time signature on the second song. I said it was 5/4, it's actually 3/4, or 6/4.
  3. In the third song, I played the wrong beat. I figured this out because I later listened to the song he was playing.
Anyways, with all of this aside, I hope you enjoy.

Since no one has uploaded this anywhere I decided I'll record it and upload it myself. This is a silly tune playing when you consume a popcorn brownie in popcorn tycoon- a game for Alexa. Enjoy.

By VIPPotato

Hey everyone, I finally got myself a pick up coil with suction cup. It costed me a lot because had to buy it from amazon US but it was worth it. So here's my first recording, ipod classic 6th gen starting up and then shutting down. The sound card I use to record is Creative Soundblaster X-Fi 5.1 pro.

Talking to a ham radio operator on my walkie-talkie | Played 30 times | No favorites

By Brycey Wicey

This recording was recorded with my iPhone 6s running iOS 9 recorded back in July 2016. Back then I was running one of my cool uniden walkie-talkies that I don't have anymore because the battery eventually gave out. For some who don't know, some walkie-talkie channels share frequencies with amateur radio repeaters, for example, channel 17, which was one of them that I was talking on. I talked to this guy about a lot of things. This wasn't my first time talking to him, my first time was somewhere around the end of March 2016, then I believe sometime in June and then the time that you're hearing this. Unfortunately I don't have the recording of my first contact with him with my walkie-talkie. I can tell that this guy owns this repeater, because he had everything pre-recorded giving out the repeaters call sign. The repeater is an nearby repeater close to me in a place in Ohio not far from me at all so everything was coming in clear. I was also sick in this recording with the cold, which kind of sucked. But it was still a pretty good recording.

This was a clip from one of my old Duff Domain shows. I would normally play carts over songs so that they could not be ripped. This time I went a little over the top and had fun with it.

Good content on Audiopub was drowning in AI-generated content lately, so I launched ai-trash.audiopub.site to deal with it. Don't worry, this isn't a total AI ban. I'm just trying to separate the low-effort stuff from the creative work.
So Basically, if you're just throwing prompts at an AI and uploading whatever it spits out, that's going to the new site. likewise for mass-produced AI uploads. But if you're using AI as a tool in your creative process, or making experimental stuff that uses AI in not overused cool ways, your content is staying on the main site.
we'll be taking a closer look at uploads. Anything that's clearly just AI output with no real human touch is heading to ai-trash. But if we can see you've put genuine effort and creativity into it, even if AI helped along the way, your content is good to stay on the main site.
This isn't about AI being bad. Notice that the new mirror is called ai-trash, not just ai. But it's about keeping some standards and not letting the site get flooded with low-effort spam.
Ai-trash.audiopub.site will be a full mirror of the main site. Your uploads there will still be playable and accessible, just not cluttering up the main feed. If one of your uploads gets moved there, it doesn't mean that was a punishment. It was just to keep the main site clean. Unless you spam... But that's a different story.
