Don't worry, you'll take less damage as she levels. The only good thing about this is you get a shit ton of coins and xp from it. You also can kill them with your entire party if you want to spread out the xp and coins.

Yeah I really recommend you go through this doing them in rows, or at very very least with some pattern. You do not want to be wandering around looking for the last shadow.

No, so fighting her with Ross is not optional, you have to do that to progress the game. But fighting her with everyone else is optional, there’s this challenge where you face every combination of characters, like Ross faces everyone, Kelly faces everyone, on and on, and once you finish That you get a bunch of coins and experience. It’s optional though past Ross.

there is, I think the brunt of the experience goes to your primary character. So right now the others are leveling, but ross is also so he'll always stay ahead of them and it won't equalise. Maybe use some of your level up herbs if you still any.
