Greetings!
Well, I come here with a song I made named flexin' and vivin'. I didn't have any other title; those were the vibes the beat gave me when it was complete. One of its melodies, namely the one in the chorus and first verse, is inspired by a melody I invented on a kalimba.
It's a sort of hybrid between experimental electronic cumbia and trap. Finding the drums for the song wasn't exactly easy, yet it paid well in the end.
I used a metronome at 250 BPM with a swing of 70 and time signature of 3-4 or tiple that amount and half the amount for bpm if we're getting into that. Apparently LLaMA told me that 12.8 is commonly found in cumbia.
If you haven't heard cumbia before, perhaps this might be your first taste of it. Do note though, the swinging beat can be a bit of an acquired taste for some, so take it easy. If you don't like it, feel free to skip it and move on. It has a piano, 2 sawtooth-based synthesizers, pluck, classic sine bass, drums of which include a clap, kick, some sort of shaker, and dubstep-like high hats or something similar.
There are three vocals in the song: two female vocals and one male vocal with what seems to be harmonies.
I used a limiter this time after amplifying it the final mix to -12b or s and use a limiter, I don't exactly remember.

the secret lies in the extension. Extend a song, get like 3 takes, and arrange them like you were arranging stacks of books into categories. Dirt cheap, and I don't need to hire anyone. I just need to upload a snippet of the song I made, make that thing extend it like it were a rubber band, make some other takes fi  Idon't like it the first time, analyze, listen to the end all of them, download the ones I need, split them into stems with audacity, then start arranging them. And let's not forget the EQ that I need to apply for them to fit well into the song, and the reverb, which is particularly subtle. The original vocals already came with reverb, but it was kinda stripped off by demux, so I had to put some more reverb to the original mix.

I split the extensions into instrumental and vocal, then pull the now slit vocal out. Apologies about not specifying that. Lmao

apologies for triple commenting, but I have to make one thing clear. its quality would have been worse if it were suno. I in fact have the original extensions of the song snippet that got extended and I can say they sound worse than the original instrumental I stitched with the vocals. Perhaps I might be able to upload the instrumental later as proof, and perhaps I might do, considering the way it sounds with the vocals on it, and the volume of the song itself.
