Description:

I come at you all with a beat that's gonna "shake the house" nah just joking.
this is a beat I made and I'm uploading it to the oh so wonderful audiopub for everyone to listen to, if they want, of course.
It's an experimental song made with audacity, and unlike one crappy synth melody I posted to the audio games forum one day this hasa got it full fledged with choruses, verses and so on. It's instrumental, with synths, some drums with the chorus having the drums I used in some experimental songs I've created that I might be uploading later, there's a guitar, and some plucks I've processed like the chorused pluck, the bass of course and 2 square synths. Enjoy
you can make derivatives of it if you wish

This is awesome! Have you thought about something different like a beat with STW sounds and windows sounds? sound challenging and interesting.

MichaelOs

windows sounds perhaps, as I have them. I have the sounds that come with simple fighter, which includes some stw sounds to which the author of the game warned about that the game had stolen sounds and whatnot, even some bow sounds that likely came from the vale or whatever, so yeah. Perhaps I might do a beat with windows sounds someday, though. Thanks for the suggestion, Mckensie!

That must have been very painful to make

if you're not doing it the long, hard way eg. Rebuilding the melody from scratch over and over again instead of looping, equally doing it for everything else, you can get pretty far. I do admit it's way more difficult than in reaper, but it's manageable for me, and I've gotten used to the process of creating a song like this, though due to the limited instruments, especially the plucks and whatnot, I can only do so much, but for that very reason I try to get the best out of every resource I have to make the beats

Might I ask why you choose to use this if you yourself have acknowledged how reaper isn't as difficult?

MichaelOs

I don't have reaper in this computer, nor do I have the midi controller. This is the computer I use for school, and now that i don't use the other, for home. The other computer that i used for reaper first got taken to the house I am right now, which is not the house I live in, before it got taken to the one I actualy live in at least for now, yet I haven't found the charger to see if it still works, as it's been a year or more since I've touched that thing, and I'm sure the power is off now. The computer in which I had reaper had 500gb or so, it was larger, yet it used an inferior processor than the one I am in right now, and I'm not willing to download the soundfonts and vsti plugins again. It's too much of an assle. Reaper's like 612 mb or so too, and, again, nope. Nt downloading osara, nor sws or whatever it's called, nor the successor of sibiac. This is why I use audacity, because it's what I have, and I can work with that
tldr: I don't have the main computer right now, and I'm not willing to download everything I used to have in my main computer in reaper
I hope this answered your question, velan
