Description:

There's a part of the lyrics in the chorus resembling rick astley's never gonna give you up. The robotic vocal at teh start warns that you might encounter it. It's specifically in the chorus and I could have chosen something better, but I decided to go with this because I was short on rhymes.
the very few listeners who have listened to kalimrek might recognize the instrumental of this song. Except it has had quite a few changes. first, teh bass and teh drums have changed. Second, the sawtooth synth with vibrato and stuff like that is way lower in volume, and the pad is now sidechained (ducked)
the lyrics of teh song might be potentially divisive or controversial, even a debate at most.
To be short, basically the story follows a former couple that became casual friends after recovering from a mutual amicable breakup between them, and then the young man starts dating her best friend, annabelle.
note: the lyrics have scene descriptions because I had the streak at that moment, and decided. This is too dull. Let's just imagine some scene descriptions and add them in, so that people can imagine how the music video might be like (for those interested in how would it look like)
as with any of my songs you can do whatever you want with them, provided you change them so as not to be duplicates when uploaded.
all the scene descriptions for each verse and part of teh song are in teh comments if anyone's curious. I'm providing the lyrics here as descriptions have a character limit.
might have cringey wording
[intro]
and I see,
and I see you in the bench we used.
For those moments,
for those moments were the best that we've ever had.
[verse1]
I see you have a new girl,
don't worry, I'm not jealous at all,
cuz I've moved on from you,
no grudges, no vudges no emotional downfall.
[pre chorus]
found my bestie was dating you,
I just told her, go for it!
I tell you she really likes blue,
don't disappoint her, at least spoil her a little bit.
[chorus]
and I see,
and I see you in the bench we used.
For those moments,
for those moments were the best that we've ever had.
treat her well, never make her cry.
treat her well, never make her lie.
treat her well
you'll get treated well,
if she ever oversteps do tell.
and he messages me.
[verse2]
don't worry, I will treat her well.
I learned from my previous mistakes.
I've fallen in love with annabelle.
and I will hug her when she wakes.
perhaps I might have found the one,
but I don't know, as I prefer no certainty.
If she ever prefers to be with you.
[chorus]
and I see,
and I see you in the bench we used.
For those moments,
for those moments were the best that we've ever had.
treat her well, never make her cry.
treat her well, never make her lie.
treat her well, you'll get treated well,
if she ever oversteps do tell.
[bridge]
[final chorus]
and I see,
and I see you in the bench we used.
For those moments,
for those moments were the best that we've ever had.
treat her well, never make her cry.
treat her well, never make her lie.
treat her well
you'll get treated well,
if she ever oversteps do tell.
and he messages me.

scene descriptions
[intro before intro]
scene: a black and white coloured image appears for the entirety of the eerie synth until the robotic voice comes in. Enter 2 robots, both of them with the k and l on their initials representing klatt4 and leann.
On their heads, the name "eSpeak" appears in bold with a green background, and they have a playful warning symbol in their chest which resembles an arrow pointed towards the digital illustration of a paper wich seems to be showing the words never gonna make you cry, never tell a lie, with a paper comparing it to a part of the lyrics on teh chorus saying never make her cry, neever make her lie.
[intro]
scene: a young man finds a bench he and his former girlfriend always sat on during dates while singing to himself. The bench is fairly old, a little bit battered, but it bore a lot of weight for years and doesn't seem to be caving in any time soon. The man sits there waiting for his bus to come get him.
[verse1]
scene: a young man, around 20, starts reading a letter his now casual friend sent him. It's been a tradition between them to send each other physical letters and they've continued the tradition, even as casual friends. The man sits quietlyin a couch with his phone in his desk while he reads the letter carefully.
[pre chorus]
scene: his casual friend reading the rest of the letter she had sent him. Whileher IPHone is inside her purse, she's reading part of the letter while in her college's dining hall. many students walk around her but they never seem to notice her among the crowd. Mostly because she prefers to keep a low profile, even in public life.
[chorus]]
scene: the protagonist walking through the streetets and finding a familiar face in the plaza they always used to be on. He starts talking to her for a while, both of them nostalgically reminiscing about the memories they had, even before they were a couple.
The street is fairly noisy, with a lot of vehicles passing by, street sellers and buskers, but the amience is fresh, something between a pleasant, warm summer wind with a bit of cooness to balance it out. Contrasting the plaza which is way quieter, the only thing heard is mostly children playing and the distant sounds of the street. Te ambience in this place is sunniner, and thanks to this the benches are way warmer. They both look happy, even satisfied because they had their time, and they now felt like friends. No romantic feelings, they vanished completely. Just platonic feelings.
scene: a group of 2 women singing advice in the young man's house while he cooks some food for them. One of which is the his casual friend's best mutual friend who started dating him. (treat her well part)
scene: casual friend sits alone, singing the final lines of the chorus to herself. She's in her studio, surrounded by a multi GPU setup and a few laptops. (solo vocal)
[verse2]
scene: his response to the letter his friend had sent him. <He sits on a quiet room with padded walls and a single chair as well as a desk in front of him. He's currently writing the letter, which looks like a white paper with a green signature at the botton. On his left hand, he has a pencil, and he's using it to write on the letter. While he does so, he reads the letter out loud
[chorus]
scene: the man sits alone in a bed unable to sleep constantly rolling around. He thinks of the bench and starts singing out loud
[bridge]
scene: a crowd of people is parading towards the paza that he and his casual friend used to go to
[final chorus]
scene: the crowd sings the chorus behind the scenes outside of the microphones. Annabelle is present along with her best friend and her partner. Annabelle and her best friend (who is the casual friend) sing the final chorus
outro
scene: a message appears on the screen. The message reads. "I love you" the message seems to be blinking before a single word appears which makes everything clear "platonically" Sent by annabelle's best friend (the casual friend)
